In the early 1980s, Adam Ant fell victim to an unexpected blow: his band was stolen by Malcolm McLaren, famous for his role in the Sex Pistols. After leaving Wham!, Adam found himself alone, determined to make a comeback with the help of guitarist Marco Pirroni. Together, they transformed their sound, incorporating African rhythms and adopting a pirate and Indian aesthetic.
