“Biguines… toubonement !” marque les débuts d’Al Lirvat en solo, sorti en 1975 avec son orchestre wabap ! Après des débuts avec des disques 78 tours et des EP 45 tours dans les années 50, cet album est l’une des premières expressions de son style wabap qui révolutionne la biguine. Accompagné de musiciens tels qu’Emilien Antile, Michel Paquit et Alfred Varasse, le jeune Jacky Bernard à la basse, avant même son rôle de claviériste pour Fal Frett, contribue à cet enregistrement.
“Biguines… Toubonement!” marks Al Lirvat’s early solo debut released in 1975 with his wabap orchestra! Prior to this, his early recordings were on 78 RPM and EP 45 RPM records since the 1950s. It’s also one of the first appearances of his wabap style that revitalizes biguine music. Accompanied by musicians like Emilien Antile, Michel Paquit, and Alfred Varasse, the young Jacky Bernard on bass, before his role as keyboardist for Fal Frett, contributes to this recording.
