Avec son deuxième album, “Get Off”, Foxy s’est métamorphosé. Tout en conservant ses influences latines (afro-cubaines et brésiliennes), Foxy est resté fidèle à la disco, mais a abandonné le son européen luxuriant de son album éponyme de 1976. “Get Off” présente une approche plus robuste et funky, laissant derrière lui la douceur de l’album précédent. Le titre provocateur et audacieux est devenu un énorme succès, démontrant la confiance nouvellement acquise de Foxy. Des morceaux mémorables comme la passionnée “You” et la ludique “Tena’s Song” contribuent à l’ambiance inspirée et cohérente de l’album.
