Great records. French Cha Cha Cha from the late 50’s. Jean Constantin is the author of one of Edith Piaf’s greatest hits, “Mon manège à moi” (1952), with music by Norbert Glanzberg.Constantin also composed the music for Zizi Jeanmaire’s most popular song, “Mon truc en plumes”, with lyrics by Bernard Dimey (1956). After composing the music for the film “Bonjour sourire” (1956), he went on to write the score for one of the iconic films of the French New Wave, “Les Quatre Cents Coups” by François Truffaut in 1959.
