This Grammy-nominated album marked Joe Cocker’s comeback in the mid-1980s, featuring a modern production and strong performances, especially by the backing vocalists. Cocker’s voice was in excellent form, with energetic rock tracks like “Two Wrongs” and “Satisfied,” as well as a remarkable rendition of “Unchain My Heart.” However, the album also had mainstream pop and white soul songs that felt like filler, and Cocker’s cover of Lennon’s song was a questionable choice among his repertoire.
