Kaxiano Ibarguren Bolinaga lost his sight as a child. He was able to learn Braille and music thanks to a meeting with a teacher. He became the first accordionist in the Basque Country to introduce other influences, playing boleros, tangos, and numerous Mexican and Latin dances. Over ten years, he recorded seven albums for Elker, and his most popular song remains “Itsasontzi baten”.
